View from the terrace across to the Langdale Pikes
Lounges are well furnished and have
open fires in the winter. In summer sit out on the terrace and
spot the fells, (with a drink!), which include some of the most
well known fells of the Lake District, Coniston Old man, Wethlam,
Crinkle Crags, Bow Fell, Scarfell Pike and the Langdale Pikes.
There are many walks from the house from easy to slightly more
challenging - Moss Eccles Tarn, Wray, Caiffe Heights and Latterbarrow
to name a few. It is an ideal location from which to walk or
tour the Lake District.
Spacious, comfortable, accommodation
is provided in eight rooms with all the facilities you
would expect.
Ees Wyke across Esthwaite Water
Ees Wyke is easily found on the B5285 between Hawkshead and
the Windermere ferry.
