If approaching from the North via Ambleside take the B5286 to Hawkshead, then the B5285 to Near Sawrey. Ees Wyke is on the right.
From the South take the Hawkshead road from Newby Bridge at the foot of Lake Windermere. Follow the signs to Near Sawrey and turn left when you reach the village.

Ees Wyke is only 2½ miles from the Windermere Ferry but during peak traffic periods you may wish to avoid the possible delays.
