Richard and Margaret are celebrating ten years at their personally run elegant Georgian house in Near Sawrey, a small village in the English Lake District, once a holiday home of Beatrix Potter.

The dining room and lounge together with some bedrooms have stunning views across the Water to Coniston Old man round to the Langdale Pikes and extensive woodland of Grizedale Forest.

There are many walks for the house, from the easy and relaxing to the slightly more challenging.

The house is just a short walk to Hill Top where Beatrix Potter made her home and wrote many of her Peter Rabbit books.
